It's going to be a long off season

    I really hope these are the two guys I was watching last year. Obviously it's too early to tell, but for NC bucks, these have potential and are going to make for a long, yet exciting off season :D

    I'm thinking (aka hoping) that the buck in the front is the chocolate horn 6 but threw on some brows with some serious mass and the one in the back is the 10pt from last year that I couldn't get a shot on.

    Nice! I'd be excited also. What the .... that mature buck has no brow tines, awesome! Wonder how often that happens?

    Are those apples in buck with no brows pic? Do you go put those out?

    The bucks where I hunt in Minnesota have small brow tines too. It must be a genetics thing. I usually pass the bucks brows so the can breed and pass that long brow genetic on. :P

    Great bucks though!

    Yeah, they're apples. A good friend of mine does whole sale at our state farmers market and had a pallet of apples he was going to toss due to "bad spots" and told me to help myself to however many boxes I wanted. The deer sure didn't mind the bad spots haha
