Me and a buddy are gonna be filming hunts this year. We will mostly be filming on public property so we will be using climbers. Is it possible to put two climbers in the same tree and be safe?
Sure. Use stabilizer straps to keep the base and seat attached securely when at height and make sure you are both using harness and connected to the tree.
Definitely possible but I wouldn't recommend. As Coop said, use stabilizer straps to ensure no one gets a headache.
I have done it a lot. It might not be the best case scenario but you have to do what's works. I would stay safe like I always do and it shouldn't be a problem.
We do this all the time. But always do the following... #1 - HSS Safety Harness with Rope Style Connector #2 - Find a tree with 16+ Inch Diameter Minimum #3 - Interlock your the top guy's bottom stand with the bottom guys top stand. This will but you close enough to still communicate etc. Good luck - and remember it's only deer hunting... stay safe and work slowly; not a race.
Thanks everyone! Just wanted to make sure it was safe to do. I always wear my safety harness so that won't be a big deal to me
