    Johnsonville brats are mighty good :tu:

    I'll be checking up on this thread after a while...see what anyone else recommends. Are you going to make it out of pork, deer or what?

    Tried doing my own 1 year, and had terrible results. Brats were "too gamey" by most of the results that got. Now I take meat in to a processor to get my brats made.

    I thought this was a thread about the kids next door...

    Anyway, I am actually getting some new seasoning and equipment to make some snack sticks, jerky, and sausage sometime this week so I too will keep an eye on this thread for recommendations. I have a lot of extra burger this year for some reason...and I didn't even get a deer. I guess it's the benefit of having a buddy's venison in my freezer :rock:

    I thought I read a whole list of recipes on here a few months back. I tried looking but couldn't find them. Maybe they're in the smoker thread? Mostly what I remember was people soaking them in beer...I think
