Right now my bow is at a poundage of about 45 pounds and will probably be 50 when the season starts.
Will that be enough poundage to shoot the Killzone Broadheads? Thanks for ay feedback.

I was in the same boat as you, I wanted to use mechanical broadheads but did not know if they would poerform correctly at low poundage. I would say that 50 pounds is enough, but if you can get it to around 55 that is better. If you can, buy a 1&3/4 " wide broadhead instead of 2" or 2&1/4. You will be more likely to get pass- throughs, whereas a 2- inch wide head may not make an exit hole, so it will make for a difficult tracking job. the 1&3/4" head will do almost as much damage as a 2", if your shot placement is good, the deer is going down either way.

No. You definitely should not be using the killzones. Mechanicals have no business being used in low poundage set ups. Get a good cut on contact fixed head and be done with it.

No way in hell anyone under AT LEAST 60 lbs should even be looking at mechanicals. You owe it to the deer to shoot what is best from your setup

I would advise against it. You probably want to stick to a good cut on contact to get the maximum penetration. Granted you can kill deer with them but just way to much to go wrong.
