I use the fletch tite and have only had problems on the first ones I did. I can to the conclusion that I didn't let them set up enough. Now I make sure that I let them set up at least 24 hrs before I shoot them. No problems since.

Make sure to get the control gel. It does not setup as fast and gives you a little more time.

yes ty i get that you have to clean the shaft as well as the fletching base, with acetone and fine sandpaper, ive done that to no avail,i let them set up for 48 hrs now and its time to try them, im a neat freak but if less is more than im outta that category lol ty for the posts everyone , seems like letting them set up was the ticket no probs with them now cept they are awful looking but if they stay attached im happy ,back to shooting

AAE FASTSET GEL, it's the real deal. I simply strip the old vanes with a stripper, steel wool it, and wipe with clean rag. I put nothing on the shaft. Secures the vane in seconds (seriously) and never a failure.

AAE Max Clean, use it according to the instructions. A q-tip with 91% isopropyl alcohol on base of vane & either AAE Max Bond or Loc Title Ultra Gel has been the answer for me.
