    First fawn of the spring sited a single fawn, I did the math and November 7th was the breeding date. I should start writing this stuff down and log it year to year. I guess in the end it would not change the way I hunt.

    Whitetail deer breeding date math... Never heard of it.

    I saw a momma doe with two fawns 4-5 days ago and on Nov 2nd there was a big 10 point chasing a doe in that field all day....

    Lots of pics of new fawns and does dropping them on Facebook. I like it!! Who would have thought social media could be a hunters tool?

    Deer have a 200 day gestation period, you see a new fawn you do the math you have a rough idea when the doe was bred. When does are ready to breed the bucks are on their feet during the day, it is a good time to hunt if you are after large mature bucks.
