Hello all, hope everyones spring turkey season went well, and is still going well for all!! Just a quick note, shot my bow this morning, 10 arrows, first time I picked my bow up since the end of season in 2014. Had major shoulder surgery( my right shoulder,my bow arm!!). A little tough , but it felt great, good group at 20 yards!! It felt like I just shot a 150" buck! LOL. Just thought I would share my excitement with my fellow bow hunters! Cheers everyone!!
Grommel Don't stop strengthening that shoulder as it weakens faster also, it also weakens when the cold hits, so think about sighting in at a lower poundage. 2 years ago I had a Bull moose @ 10 yards @-15 and couldn't draw 70lbs . Last year I couldn't draw on a doe @7 yards when it was -25 @60lbs, and I said last year I wouldn't stop strengthening my shoulder. I stopped in September, that's what happened, mine was a bad Rotator Cuff pull. This year I won't stop! Rocky
Thanks so much, I will do everything I need to do with physical therapy and such to get back to normal.Glenn Rommel(grommel)
