Everyone have a good and safe Memorial Day weekend. Don't forget the reason for the holiday. Too many people had to die for this country and they should be in our thoughts as we celebrate.

Yes most definitely thanks to all our brothers and sisters that have served or are serving our country today.

It's a day to remember those who gave their lives so that the rest of us could be free.

I'm proud to be the wife of a veteran.

My Memorial Day weekend consists of driving to Fort Huachuca, AZ from Fort Hood for a six week course. I'm kind of looking forward to the solitude of the 13 hour drive so I can reflect on the past 19 years of my life I've spent in the Army and to remember friends and soldiers I met on deployment who didn't come home. Hope everyone enjoys family time and takes a moment to reflect on those who can't be here with us.

Good thread. For the many that have made the ultimate sacrifice so that we can enjoy the freedoms that we have we should humbly reflect and give honor to them.
