So I have a Redfield rangefinder. I really like it but the other day while shooting it began acting up. It would work at some distances and not others. Being that it is a couple years old and frankly has been through the paces I figured it was just time to shop for another.

So while shopping today I visited their website to check pricing vs other online retailers and I see their lifetime warranty claims so I figured I would give em a call and see if there was any possibility of getting it fixed perhaps saving me a few bucks in repair costs vs purchasing new.

The guy who answered the phone seemed puzzled by what I described as the problem and said to please send it in and they would take care of it. Just like that.

So... kudos to Redfield / Leupold for going above and beyond IMO.

That's pretty good deal, always nice seeing somebody stand behind their product.

The EXACT same thing happened to mine. I contacted them and they said send it in and they would take care of it. Haven't got the chance to send it in quite yet though.

Might not be the same case for you but mine was doing that at one point. Put a new battery in it and all good

I think I tried that but I'll have to try it again.

Well, battery shows as being good in the display. I suppose it is worth a shot before sending in to check it though.

I have had nothing but good things to say about the quality and CS of Redfields...love their scopes and the rangefinder I used to use.

I sent an RX600 in for a possible repair well after the warranty expired. All I asked was that they contact me with the amount for the repair before they make it so I can determine if it was feasible verse buying a new range finder.
I didn't receive any correspondence from them and little over two weeks I got a package at the door with a new range finder.
Top shelf company to deal with in my book.

That's all good to hear because I've got a Redfield scope, rangefinder and binoculars.

Wasn't the battery, I sent it in last week and tracking shows they received it on Tues 5/26. So far I have not heard anything back from them.

I received an email from Redfield yesterday. They are replacing my Raider 550 under warranty with a new Raider 600. The 600 has the angle compensation and slightly longer range than the 550. I am more than pleased.
