I have a Vapor (thumb release) and love it. I've yet to hear anything bad about Hot Shot products.

I just got finished reading the article on thumb vs finger releases and that is where I got the idea to look them up.

I too have the Vapor. Its the first Thumb release I've ever tried. I love it. As others have said Hot Shot had great customer service for sure!

I got this release in today and when i first shot it i was hitting way to the left and just thought i need to shot it a bit more to get used to it but after shooting for abot 30 minutes i was still jerking and hitting way left and i can not find myself getting used to this release and i think i will send it back and just buy a new tru fire edge like my old one.

Slow it down and focus on your shot sequence before you make any decision.

Also post up a pic of your release hand anchor. That could be it

This is getting overly complicated for no reason.

The nano has a strap while the smoke has ridged post. They will most likely not shoot the same because it. Easy fix is as long as you bow is still tuned, and you not doing anything funky .....just gang adjust your sight for the POI difference.

Just got done shooting and I adjusted the trigger tension and I found where I like it and I am going to be keeping this release now.
