About a month or so ago I purchased a new No Cam 70# 30dl. Last year I was shooting the 70# 29dl Creed XS, literally couldn't hold a consistent pattern past 30 yards. Well come to find out....I was shooting about an inch too short dl. Go figure... Needless to say, I enjoy shooting a lot more now. Here's my first set of the day and my second time shooting at 40 yards. I had 40 yards dialed in, in a matter of shots, the day before. Now that my dl is correct, i'm working on my form and target panic... I noticed I like to jerk up or compress my bow elbow to let down right before the shot.
That's cool buddy and nice bow,I know when I got.back into shooting bows I bought a release that was to long and kept hitting my arm which everyone knows sucks but now I have a better release and have not hit my arm on e since which now means my form is better and my shots are better too. Did the same thing last year. Just switched over to a thumb release, helps me with a better anchor point and smoother release. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So much nicer having a longer ATA and riser bow haha what was I thinking...28 ATA for a 6'4" guy...not smart. The No Cam is a sweet shooting bow! I hope to be consistently driving tacks at 40 yards then I'll move back to 50.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yep same here and what was nice I could adjust the trigger to the pressure I liked that helped out too, that and having forward trigger I probably could up a 1/2 on my DL but I'm good where it is and momma always says if it ain't broke don't fix it lol
I haven't been able to shoot lately. Between work and school, my hands are TIED! I watched an interesting video today about "focus on the front sight". Anyone heard of this? We'll see what my 40 looks like after not shooting for a couple days.
C0wb0yChris, keeping busy is good sometimes. What are you studying? I'm always surprised that after taking a few days off from archery how quickly over a few 6 shot rounds my groups begin to tighten up. Lately I'm good for about an hour of practice, or less depending how long it takes me to get dialed in.
