So which was does the arrow go?

    Hey guys I'm relatively new to bowhunting. I question I have is which direction should the odd color of the fetching point?

    depends on what kind of rest you are using a shoot thru it will be down, fall aways I leave it up and flipper type it goes out

    You can put it any way you would like. You just have to do it the same every time and make sure your fletchings are correctly lined up for your rest.

    I do mine vertical since I use a 3 prong HOSTAGE rest

    just be sure your nock is oriented to the odd color fletching with the conjunction with your rest as mentioned above.

    I have a drop away apache. Haven't noticed any difference in which way the odd color faces.

    I believe that the position of which way the odd coloured arrow goes depends on what type of rest your using. With the rest that I use the odd colour faces down.

    With a properly tuned rest, it doesn't matter. If using a drop away that's set up properly your fletching should never come in contact with the rest.

    I like my cock vane to face left.

    As long as you are tuned and don't have contact issues, it doesn't really matter. I'd recommend indexing them all the same what ever you decide though.

    I have odd vane out for my particular setup. It gives me the best clearance allowing for the maximum amount of time for my rest to stabilize the arrow before dropping away.
