I'm a college kid so a budget is something that is a must... Well something that's just kind of there when going hunting. I would love to hunt with carbon express reds but I don't think I can swing it anybody have any suggestions for a hunter like me under a budget looking for quality arrows arrows under a budget.
Take a look at beman arrows. They are made by Easton and I've had good luck with them in the past. Gold tips are also very nice! I'd probably still shoot one of those 2 but my Easton FMJ's are amazing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Check out Deer Crossing Archery. I've been very impressed with their target arrows, and can only assume that the hunting arrows are of the same quality
And FYI, my current hunting arrows are CX Mayhems and I find my Deer Crossing arrows group just as good at half the price.
Beman ICS Hunter Patriots are very good arrows. They're an industry standard for a carbon arrow and are readily available thru a lot of sources. Everyone is trying to be thrifty in this economy, thanks Obama, so you don't have to buy a full dozen. Just get six to start out with.
beman ics hunters are pretty cheap and fly good. DCA's are also pretty good and if you find a staff shooter (not hard to do) you can get 10% off with their discount code
+1. It took months of rationing my discretionary spending to get the accessories I wanted for my bow.
I've killed many deer with a basic Easton carbon/Beman ICS as well. Arrow placement > expensive equipment. Save up and buy some better ones later, no shame in being a budget hunter when you need to.
Well said Spear. A less expensive arrow like a Beman ICS Hunter Patriot with 3" vanes is a great arrow for any kind of North American game.
As a college student myself I have found the Beman ICS Patriots to be rock solid. They advertise .003 straightness and I believe it. I shoot a mission Blaze which I would consider a mid range budget bow. This with my QAD ultra and truglo range rover make for a damn accurate set up that me and my wallet have enjoyed. Buddy of mine just bought a mathews z7 and spent much more than I did and we shoot the same group sizes. good luck bud.
How long of an arrow do you shoot ? I have a few arrows I could let ya have if they will work for ya ...
I would go with the beman ics patriot hunters you can't go wrong for the price and there tough as nails. I would look up eders.com I got a dozen cut and fletched for hunder a hundred, they got good deal on arrows and accessories......
Victory V series can be had ready to shoot for appx $75/12. I've not had an arrow brand group more consistently from 20-80 yards, and I've shot arrows 2x the price and always been disappointed they weren't as good as the Victorys. Plus they're plenty tough enough.
