My 11 year old daughter shot her second turkey ever today. It was a hell of a day, we had a nice tom come in from a long way but after moving position she missed. We moved the blind and two jakes were coming in tonight. I asked her is she wanted to shoot one or wait for a tom. She looked at me and said my heart is pounding, I am shooting one. She crushed him. I dont have access to a computer right now so I will post pics tomorrow. I also have footage plus she filmed it with a POV camera as well.

Congrats! Sounds like a great memorable hunt for father and daughter :) I have yet to get my first turkey. Have a hard time finding time, but see them a lot on private land or close to residences.

That's awesome for both of you. I'm waiting for my 14 yo daughter to arrow her first elk or deer, and it'll be rewarding when she does.
