I was shooting yesterday and noticed the new arrows I fletched are contacting the cable on my bow. I tried rotating the arrow so the fletchings were in different positions but I couldn't find one that allowed it to be clear. What would be some ways to fix this without refletching? I'm currently using norway fusion vanes (2") and Gold Tip Velocity arrows.

what made you notice the contact? The new ZT roller gets those cables out of the way with plenty of clearance, so i'd bet its most likely a different issue, such as a centershot set too far in. I've set up plenty of nitrum and spyder ZT's and always had more than adequate clearance for any blazer/fusion vane

I shoot a Spyder ZT 31/65 so my specs are very close to yours.

Most likely a center shot issue as nick said. If the bow won't tune at recommended center shot make sure there is no excessive cam lean or the arrows are properly spined

I use white fletchings and since they are new I thought they should still be that way, but the closest fletching to the cable all have black smudges in the same spot. I figured they were contacting the cable but they could be hitting the shelf or something else I guess.

uploadfromtaptalk1431125512514.jpg here's a picture of the smudge. It's on the highest point of vane. It may be hitting the rubberized piece on the riser shelf. I'm not sure. The others are like this also. Not just this arrow.

A qad. I don't remember the exact model but it has the brake system so bounce back shouldn't be an issue.

I'm not sure what to say that max and nick didn't say already. But I'm glad you're putting those arrows to good use.
