I do more reading than posting, but I can't help myself tonight. The Lord has blessed me in many ways recently and I want to reflect.

Firstly, my wife and I were blessed with our first child in December of last year, a beautiful girl named Ayla Grace. What an amazing thing it is to be a father!

Secondly, I started a new job 3 months ago that I wake up looking forward to going to every day. (I won't look forward to going when hunting season rolls around, however)

And last, my wife is a hair stylist and met a new client tonight that granted me permission (without even meeting me) to hunt their recently purchased 40 acres, 10 minutes from my house.

So, can I get a hallelujah?!?

You surely are blessed. Ayla is a real cutie and you have a wife drumming up hunting rights for you. Life is GOOD!

Enjoying your job ain't a bad thing either. :tu:

Congrats! Welcome to fatherhood. It will be the most challenging and most rewarding thing you will ever do. Enjoy the new hunting grounds and new hunting partner.
