Sad that this "protest" is overshadowing the real problem. Seems like there's always a small group that takes advantage and ruins it for everyone.
What thought process could anyone be using to think this would ever improve any situation. This can only hurt their own community in the long run. Why aren't there some community respected leaders there to tell them all they are ruining their own world. I just can't understand the whole thing.
Why I moved from Baltimore to the sticks, Baltimore is getting crazy and this is one thing to set it over the top. Makes no sense
Yea now I have kids of my own too I don't want them around that and if your from Maryland around Baltimore you know How it is getting to be now just crazy
You mean just like the police of Birmingham, AL. turned the fire hoses on the what was then called the "Negros" back in 1965? Might as well release the dogs and shoot a few, in the legs of course, with bird shot.
That's exactly what I mean. But I don't care what ****ing color they are. If your gonna burn buildings, throw rocks/bricks and loot a damn mall, you deserve worse than a fire hose.
That's what I'm thinking. Friday is my last day there and I didn't want to lay out after giving notice but this may be a worthy reason.
I'm sure everyone there will understand. You probably won't be the only one taking a few vacation days.
Obviously it's ridiculous. Watching the news now and all that is being commented is why the police are allowing all this to happen. What are they supposed to do? From what it seems is goin on now if the police start being aggressive and forcibly removing people it's just going to escalade more. It looks like they've contained some of the areas where the problems are the worst, so why not let these idiots tear up their own neighborhoods. They act like when something like this happens, even if it's foreseen, it takes no time to mobilize and decide what tactics and force to use. You can't just go in guns blazing so to speak when this stuff kicks off.
and that POS $harpton is most likely watching it all unfold and holding a bottle of lotion and paper towels.
They're angry because the police haven't finished their investigation, made an arrest, held a trial, convicted and sentenced someone in the week it's been since the Freddie Gray incident. I do agree that the department in question probably shouldn't be running the investigation of its own officers, but these rioters and protestors need to chill out for a bit. Way to go, guys. You're taking everyone's attention away from the issue to focus on your inability to exercise self control when you become angry.
