For a sports fan this could be the greatest week of sports ever. With the Nfl draft, the NHL and NBA playoffs, Kentucky Derby and the fight of the Century, do you think this is the greatest week of sports ever?

I'll watch the early draft, NBA and the Derby. Zero interest in the others...

I probably will not watch the fight, sure not going to drop the $ for pay per view. I hope the fight is up to the hype. Hagler Hearns would be hard to top.

Sota, do you think either Manny or Floyd could have beaten Sugar Ray back in the day?

I'm excited to see who my team drafts, but I don't sit down and watch the draft. Nice thing about the information age is that I will everything I need on my phone within moments of it happening. I can't watch the NHL, just have zero interest in hockey. I have outgrown the NBA, I'm just not that into watching one on one isolation plays for 3 hours. The Derby always blows my mind, all this hoopla for something that lasts 2 minutes and change. I just can't get into boxing anymore either.

Granted it was back when fights were shown or reshown on network TV but I got to watch Sugar Ray fight, I think that Sugar Ray would beat both and if he lost to either one he would win the rematch.

Boxing died for me the first time I watched UFC.

That being said, I hope Manny kicks his butt.

Wainwright just went down for the year, the Blues broke my heart yet again, and the Rams will be in L.A. in no time.

No, I think I'm going to skip all sports for a bit.

The Rams things really irritates me. I hate it when a team abandons a town like that. I know that's how STL got them in the first place, but it just sucks.

On a brighter note, the Raiders are being considered as a replacement in STL :)

Yeah, STL isn't really a terrible football town either. It gets a bad reputation, but it is hard to support an organization that has put out a crappy product for the past decade and has an owner that once to pack up as soon as he can, and they still draw crowds to a cruddy stadium. Go back to the days of Faulk, Warner, Bruce, and Holt, and you would be hard pressed to find a tougher ticket to get in town, or a louder stadium. At this point, I'd gladly trade the Lambs for Silver and Black.

Well, if it means keeping football in STL, I can see your point about taking the Raiders, but they are a turd of a team with a family of turd owners so I don't know that it would be any better. 2002 was the last time they even made the playoffs.

It would be hard to find a bigger turd than Stan Kroenke.
