I know there is a lot of choice / types / heights / lengths etc.....

I am fairly new to bow hunting. I have a LH 2011 pse compound bow, x-force axe 6 . Set up for me at 30" DL at 65lbs

Looking to get ; Easton Bloodline 330 shafts with Easton H nocks ( AMO length 31" )
100gr Easton Screw In Field Points for target use - and 3 blade fixed 100g Broadheads for hunting.

I am considering Bohning Impulse Vanes - 4" as I have read with most rests the low profile vanes are better ?

I wont be trying to kill anything past 30 yards for a long while. Mostly forest here.

For me, I've tried all kinds of vanes. I prefer 2" Blazers on a right 3 degree helical.

I prefer Blazers. I tried 2" Blazers, 2" Vane-Tec, 2" Razyr feathers, 4" Vane-Tec vanes, 4" Gateway feathers, and seemed to get the best results with the 2" Blazers with my fixed blade broadheads out to 55 yards (as far as I tested). I fletched them all with right helical.

Yes I wouldn't use them with a fixed blade head, a low profile mechanical yes...fixed blades no.
