I recently tore my pectoralis major tendon from my humerous bone. I had surgery 4 days ago and now I am bored and trying to figure out when I will be able to draw a bow again. This will be the first summer in 35 years that I haven't been able to shoot. Hoping for a speedy recovery to get back on track.
Hi Heysham Welcome to the site. Whereabouts in Western NY are you located? Ever hear of cold laser therapy to accelerate healing? I've had it and it worked wonders.
Welcome from a fellow New Yorker! Hope you have a speedy recovery!!! I know the feeling myself, still healing up my ankle and doing the PT thing now...never is any fun!
Welcome...I'm pretty new here myself, but have found this a friendly, knowledgeable forum - hope you do too. Bill
Welcome and hope you have a speedy recovery. don't rush it talk to your physical therapist. I hurt my back 3 years ago and it took me another year to get better as I hurt it again the next year.
Welcome from Steuben County NY. I had shoulder surgery last year and missed just about the entire year following the surgery as it pertains to archery. Do exactly what the Dr. and PT says. Good luck.
Sorry to read of your injury - the stuff that comes with age, I guess. One of the reasons I got myself a crossbow this winter...
