I'm glad he will be back on the field, hoping to see improvement in his passing game. He was a beast in college hopefully he can bring back that beast mode again.

I think it is a sideshow kind of thing. There is no intention of him playing QB. Chip Kelley has a vision of how to utilize him in his offense....... maybe? Not nearly as big of a deal as the media will pounce on it.

He probably won't even make the team.

No chance he plays QB in the NFL again especially in Chip Kelly's offense. If he is willing to play fullback or try some tight end maybe he makes the team.

Chip Kelly just needs Tebow to appear like he refined his ability to play QB and I bet he will try to use him as a trading chip, and it wouldn't be very costly to the Eagles either. I always thought Tebow should switch to TE as well, his style of play just doesn't seem to fit well in the NFL but I think that's why he worked so hard at changing his QB fundamentals. I wish him the best, he seems like a good person and role model compared to many in the NFL.

I keep hearing this and dont' really get it. What kind of trading chip would Tebow be? He's been sitting out there free for the taking and nobody wants him. Why would a team all of the sudden want to trade for Tebow?

Not sure what the Eagles are thinking, The Eagles were fine at QB till their GM lost his mind.

Tebow who? Despite a couple of games in Denver he's a bust. Nice kid though.

The Browns are starting Josh McCown. Josh McCown...need me to say it again? The Buccaneers and Titans don't seem to be sold on Winston or Mariota and if Kelly really wanted Mariota (I think he does, but he's playing it off like he doesn't) he could sell the farm along with a QB option (Tebow) to move up. This draft class is very week on QB so the Bucs/Titans could be in for some wild trading along with a QB who can be a 1 year option. Even if the Eagles can use Tebow to move up to the Browns #12 pick they have a lot more room to bargain to move up again. I know it's wild but from what you've already seen from Chip Kelly, would you expect any less?

Tim Tebow has ZERO trade value, any team that had any interest could have had him without giving up a draft pick.

That's true, but he can be packaged with other people/picks. Also, he can be a backup plan for Kelly if no one wants to swap picks for Bradford. I don't think Bradford is Kelly's guy, Tebow could probably get by. There's a high probability of a trade somewhere out of all this.

Trade? maybe but I don't see that as a viable strategy. I think that Tebow is a good guy, good role model and I personally like the values that he exhibits but as an NFL quarterback ---- not ever gonna happen. He has been very dogmatic and unwavering in his inflexibility about moving to an alternate position that would possibly give him a shot in the league. His choice to be a QB but I think he will have another short stint. Hope I am wrong as I would like to see him succeed.

I see him coming in for the wildcat once in awhile. Maybe a 3rd string QB. But not a full time starter or even 2nd stringer.

I've heard it frequently mentioned that Tebow could make it as a running back or tight end. Maybe someone convinced him to give it a shot at that position. We'll have to wait and see. A guy who can run with the ball and throw it occasionally, could be an asset.

Anyone who thinks Tebow has any trade value is completely out of their mind. Tebow wasn't even on an NFL roster last season. If other teams besides the Eagles wanted him they would have gone after him. He will be cut before regular season starts.

Tebow will never get a single check from the Eagles.

I'm going to laugh if he gets the starting position. I'll laugh even harder if he does well as the starter.
