Who do you want to run? What issues do you think need addressed most? What is your outlook on the future of the USA (positive or negative)?

Hopefully we can be civil since this is such a touchy topic...let's not make it an argument on policy, I am just curious who everyone likes in general because I think we will see a lot of first time presidential bids in the election next year.

I am going to wait and see what is said for a few primaries and debates before I can really even form an opinion. I will be honest I am not looking forward to the political commercials.

As of right now, I kinda like Rand Paul...

I don't know though. Doesn't matter what I think. Everybody is a moderate these days and nothing ever really gets done.

As for the direction of the country, there are too many shifts to say anything definitive. Just too many hypocrites on all sides. Everyone seems to want to tell everyone else what they should do, believe, etc. It's annoying.

Rand just needs to separate himself from anything with the Tea Party.

Damn...just read that article. Crap. I hate politics.

Yep. The tea party in general just needs to go away, all Iit did is create a giant rift within the Republican Party.

As for a candidate, I'm not sure quite yet but I am sure that mitt Romney should not run again.

I'm currently leaning to Rand personally....however I know one thing. I was labeled a racist in 2008 & 2012...and will be labeled a sexist in 2016....that much I'm certain.

I just don't see how Hillary will win. The Republicans would have to trot out a serious lame duck candidate for that to happen. Basically don't push another Romney.

Or maybe I have too much faith in my fellow Americans.

Rand is .... Intriguing, but I have my doubts.

Clinton is scum and believe it or not unpalatable to a lot of the left,. the real leftist see her as a phony power driven witch that will ***** herself to the left in lip service only..... In other words believe it or not she is too moderate and establishment for them. No don't think for a minute that will stop them from voting for her vs any republican candidate. If she gets the nomination they will glove up and vote for her. Her biggest issue is getting the nomination, she may not ....

However, like mentioned above ..if she did she is a dream candidate for the republicans to run against. But have you seen the last few Republicrat candidates!? McCain...Romey.... They couldn't win on a national level if they were running alone.
We have two party's that are so alike in their lack of regard for the citizenry that it should make us all nauseous.

The biggest threat that Hillary poses against the Republican Party is that she will be toting Bill around everywhere and sticking him in front of cameras. People well then think that a vote for Hillary is basically bringing bill back in office again

    I like Ted Cruz

He's been a Senator, Like Obama
He was not born in the United States, Like Obama

Rand is the only one who peeks my interest, but if he aligns himself with the neo-cons, he won't win the General Election.

What a true statement that is! That's the reason I'm constantly vomiting.
As far as endorsing any candidates... I'm waiting to see some 'meat' come to the forefront and express some leadership qualities this country so desperately needs.

I don't even like Ted Nugent opening his blabbering mouth as a voice for hunters... much less the voice of America!

I have mixed feelings on both topics already hit on.

    1) The thought of Hillary as president is nauseating... Part of me thinks she is the perfect democrat to run against because I am now doubting if she could ever win... But I could easily see it repeating 2008, where a candidate is voted in for who they are/what they represent without ANY regard for what policies they actually stand for.

    2) I can't make my mind up about Rand... part of me thinks he is kind of an idiot looking for any kind of drama/debate to gain himself popularity. The other part of me thinks he is exactly what we need in the oval office, something different from the previous 5-10 guys in there.
