Here is my new mathews monster wake! Let me tell you this bow is one of the best bows I've evwr shot. It is dead in your hand, has absolutely no shock after you shoot, is insanely quiet, smoothe, and extremely fast. Don't knock this bow until you shoot it. Can't wait to knock down some animals with this baby

I would love to get my hands on one. Maybe next year when the price comes down a little. If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for that puppy, bare bow? I saw one at my local Pro Shop...Wow the riser makes that thing seem massive!

The only thing I actually paid for were the peep sight and string loop. I bought arrows too so I think bare bow after tax was around 1700

The axle to axle is 35". The only thing I wasn't sure of is the grip because after shooting awhile my hands get slippery and it was really hard to hold on to. But this bow is amazing!

Thompsonky12, congrats on the new bow sir, it looks awesome. What kind of arrows are you going to run thru that speed monster?

looks sweet.... a bit too short on the brace height for me to shoot comfortable... but looks like a nasty rig! Congrats!

I am shooting the carbon express maxima reds 350 grains. I didn't shoot it through the chronographer but the owner said at 28" draw at 70# and the same arrows he was getting 322 fps

350 spine or 350 grains? If 350 grains that's running slow in the ibo by only a few FPS.

That's a very speedy combo with those Maxima Reds. Definitely a killer rig.

Here is an updated version of some minor customizing I did. Going for the bumblebee look with yellow and black. My next step will be to get yellow strings and cables. image.jpg

Cowboychris wasn't to interested in letting me borrow his no cam but maybe you might be willing to let use that wake you got. Haha, just kidding but nice bow you got there.
