What's there to be afraid of? The guy is borderline on being the Antichrist if you ask me. As a lifelong bible student, I find his comments incredibly offensive to Christians. His appealing to the masses by saying you can do whatever you want and still be saved is just a ploy to put $$ in his pocket. The bible specifically warns us about people exactly like him. There is right and there is wrong...people in the clergy who try to blur the line between the two are dangerous people
I'm going to be an atheist from here on out! Who's right? The Christians, Scientology, Buddhism, Islam, and now this *** clown. What if we are all wrong and when you die your just dead?

As a person who is definitely religions but non-Christian, I'm looking forward to this discussion. I'm inclined to agree with him that those Gospel authors he quotes were on the wrong track.

True Christians believe in the complete bible, not just picking certain parts and ignoring others. They apply the principles of the bible and don't use the wording of the original text to justify wrong teachings. If you don't believe in something strongly enough to adhere to and stand up for every part of it, you don't really believe in it to begin with.
This has always been my position on religion and god. Hooker thinks there is no god. He is confident there is no god. But as much as he may proclaim it he doesn't know for sure. Sorry Hook. Tony thinks there is a god. He is confident in the bible and there is a god that he has a relationship with. But as much as he may proclaim it he doesn't know for sure. None of us know for sure exactly what the situation is. We may believe something and be confident we are right but we all could be wrong. All of us should admit that right now. So this guy above thinks he is right. He is confident that he is right. Ok great. He doesn't know for sure either.
So the truth of the matter is Christianity doesn't care who you are. Period. God does love each and every person regardless of what they may have done and offers the gift of salvation to everyone, though not all will accept him. However, he does not accept or approve of our sin and the consequence of sin is death. Through his son Jesus and death on the cross for our sin we are able to be saved. REPENTANCE and moving away from our sin is part of that deal. If you truly believed in Jesus and a relationship with God why would you live in open rebuke to God's word? You cannot live according to man and mans desires AND grow in relationship with God. A Christian's desire to love God and follow his will for our lives should accompany a desire to turn away from sin.
I don't get the difference? I don't know how Christianity could be different from each other in the first place. In one church one thing is ok and the other it's not. It just seems so random some of the time. What if you pick the church that doesn't believe in following one of the things the other church does and that damns you to hell. Back on track this guy is the next Jim Baker zero respect and $ for him
Wow. I don't think I have ever claimed that there is definitively no god. My answer to the is there a god question is "I have no idea, but I would lean towards no, or if there is one, its nothing like we imagine"
I have always hated the "I know and you don't" attitude in religion. No, you don't know for sure stop claiming you do while pushing your way on everyone else.
