    Good article for sure. Bernie does an excellent job helping the novice. I Enjoyed his book about DIY travel hunts. His opinion of the quality of Minnesota's deer herd is way off, but still a good writer.

    Good article, having hunted bear over bait in Maine the last 4 years I can attest to the fact that there are a lot of misconceptions about how easy it is to harvest a bear over bait. The bears learn the game fairly early in life that there is not any free lunches and the ones that I have seen are extremly wary around any bait barrel expecially the bigger ones.
