That is what I use and it works really well. I started using it about 3 months ago and I like it a lot. It is the first video editing software I have used and I am still learning it.

Marked. I've been interested in the PowerDirector software for a while now. Can anyone share their created videos?

Not a very big fan of it. Maybe it's because I can't stand CyberLink!

I use Adobe Premier, it's fantastic. You can use it on a month to month basis, and you get all the new versions of the software for free. It does have a much higher learning curve.

Ok, I went with the Power Director 13 Ultimate, because Im new to this and the price for what I was getting....NOW, how in the name of %$&^%$&^%$ do you save a video you've created, so that you can watch it......Separately from the program itself...for example./...

Windows Media Player, Quicktime, etc......Help Please

    Thanks Creeks!

Creeks, how did you make out? I just picked up PowerDirector this week to edit my spring bear hunt. I'm very pleased with it so far

I'm very pleased with the software. Like you said, nothing breathtaking, but it makes stitching together a few camera angles very simple, and gives you plenty of transition options.
I had this video put together within a few hours of first using the software.

Thanks! It's honestly a pretty budget setup overall. The only thing I spent bigger coin on is the Muddy Pro camera arm. The GoPro on my bow is one I bought used for $100 a couple years ago. The camera is a Canon Vixia HF R20 that I bought used for $150, and the head I'm using is off a $50 tripod I had sitting around.
As for the editing. I just split and trimmed each section of video and then added transitions afterwards. A little frustrating at times, but got more comfortable with it eventually
