It's a Menards, no name brand cheapie. The windows are small. The whole blind is small. I can't comfortably come to full draw in it. I wish I would have gotten the bigger size.

I'm going to try and use natural cover for turkey and switch to a tree stand for deer this fall.

I might also buy a better and bigger ground blind.

I really don't know what I'm going to do, I guess.

    Chime in with your opinions.

I thought you were going to say you bought an Amerstep doghouse blind. I would rather be waterboarded than sit in a ground blind.

Rhino XP-1 Groundblinds are really nice. They setup really quick and are easy to take down and pack in and out. HME blind accessories were all designed using this blind so they work well.

I've taken the same path as well as I'm sure many others. Buy cheap small ground blind cause it seems like the thing to do. Hate it every time you sit in it cause it's too small. Than buy bigger one for 2-3 times the $ and love every hunt out of it. For this season just camo up really good, cover hands and face and sit against a large tree breaking up your outline. Watch youtube videos it's how it was done before all these blinds starting popping up in every store. Pay attention to dimensions when you do buy one. There's a Big Mike version at fleetfarm that you can stand up in and fit several people in that's on my to buy list.

I need a 6 foot square blind to draw comfortably. The one I have is two feet too short. If I had a bigger blind, it wouldn't mind using it so much. However, I still prefer being in the open.

I just purchased a ground blind but haven't used it yet, maybe during the turkey season. I bought the biggest one I could afford on my budget. I hunt from tree stands and camouflaged from the ground too

If you can't draw in it, I would either sell it or use it for firearms season only.
