I understand this question has probably been asked 3,456,291 times but I gotta know. Do you guys who spend so much money and time perfecting your mature buck hunting approach and shoot mature bucks nearly every year (or try to) pee out of your stand or do you not chance it and bottle it up and take it out with you? I've read studies where deer don't react to it and personally have let it flow in the past and have had young deer walk under me minutes later with no alarm raised. Lots of people say let it flow but I don't know if their just shooting young deer or bagging 4.5 + yr olds regularly. These last 6 months on this forum i've learned a lot from you guys but haven't seen this question raised and have never heard from a mature buck hunter what they do. So how do you guys go about it when nature calls 20 ft up. Let it flow or bottle it up?

My personal preference I take a Gatorade with me to drink in the morning so I'm Hydrated and it makes a good urinal I havent had onr run away from my stand but thats just because i was taught by my father never to use the bathroom right next to your stand even when your out working on it, and if i'm struck with the other situation I will travel away from my stand then come back and try to go down wind. My answer is why take the chance when most people do all they can to cover thier scent.

Used to use a bottle until I heard Bill Winke from Midwest Whitetail say he just let's it fly. That guy is one of the most knowledgeable and careful hunters I've read or seen.

Let it fly right out of the stand. I always have and have never once had deer react negatively. In fact, quite the opposite.

Your movement while you are peeing is much more likely to get you busted.

Not a regular big buck killer, but as a woman it is pretty dang hard to bottle it or just let it buck from the stand. I don't go a long distance from my stand but I have yet to see negative affects of going in the woods.

One deer it won't affect at all...next scare the **** out of.....each deer is different. 90 deer could get killed over it...but one may not. I just don't want that one to be a booner :)

I used to use the Gatorade bottles too, but I haven't in years. Just go from your stand. In fact I piss in every scrape I can as well.

Let it rip. All urine turns to ammonia after it makes contact with oxygen. I once read that urine takes approximately one hour to completely break down to ammonia once it makes contact with the air. An hour later, a deer doesn't know the difference between human urine and deer urine anyway.

Makes ya wonder about deer urine we buy doesn't it? ;)

If your pee is yellow and stinky that means you need to take a drinky.

    This.

Just make sure you scan the area for deer before you go.
