Do you guys think I could trade this for a xbow?

    Keep the compound and just buy the CB. That way you have something to come back to if you change your mind.

    A 5 year old cant pull back a compound

    A 5 year old was never mentioned. You're pretty young to be messing with bows, aren't you? lol

    Well Im not five Im 17 years old will be 18 in June. Younger kids would like to go hunting. If I can get them a xbow Im sure I could take them. WOuldnt want them shooting a .223 or .308. When I was younger I didn't care...I also didnt have any one in my family that hunted.

    Jay im sure someone out there would trade keep trying all of the forums and FB outdoor pages. I have a Wicked Ridge crossbow and the kids love it.

    I am glad you are teaching younger kids this sport. I have an 11 year old girl and a 1yr old boy. I hope they will follow in my foot steps if not so be it. I am purchasing a crossbow from a friend and want my kids to shoot it. (the boy can wait a few years) My daughter shoots recurve at girlscouts and loves it. She dosen't like the sound of killing an animal but its still something we can do together.
