I don't know how much other areas of the country are talking about Adrian Peterson on sports radio, but it is non stop here. I am sick of hearing he doesn't want to play here because he wasn't treated right by the team, and some of the radio hosts saying we need to cut him or trade him for whatever we can get since he doesn't want to play here. I hope the Vikings do nothing because he has NO LEVERAGE! If he doesn't want to play here and his wife doesn't want to come back to Minnesota then stay your @$$ home and retire like Sanders did. Otherwise your under contract for 3 years, shut your mouth about the situation YOU put yourself in and play. Getting a late first round pick or even a second round pick for one of the greatest players would be just stupid and set a precedent that if a player cries enough they will get their way.

Especially after they paid his salary for the whole season to sit on his butt at home, if he wants to be traded - they should have him pay that back.

You'd be lucky to get a two back because of his salary. Really very little about it on talk radio here.

I would trade him to the worst team in the league.

If they trade him I am going to be pissed but if they do I hope it is the Raiders.

AP is a great player when he runs, he can not pick up a blitz or catch the ball away from his body with his hands.

What did the Viking do that he feels was treating him poorly. The NFL suspended him, what are they saying Minnesota did?

No AP, no Jennings looks like the Packers take the division again.:tu:

You could add those two back to the Vikings and the Packers will still win the division.

The Packers signed the best 2 free agents in the division, their own players.

Packers certainly are the team to beat in the North. But, Wallace is an upgrade over Jennings and Peterson is under contract with the Vikings.

If he holds out, the Vikings are going to be about the same as last year if not worse.

I think the chances of AP choosing not to play after missing last season are close to zero. Nobody in these media reports even seem to know what is really going on between AP and Viking brass. I really doubt they would be worse next season with all the things that went against them last year. Seems more likely that a team with a lot of young talent would continue to improve with or without Peterson. Bridgewater came on strong the last 1/3 of the season. Time will tell.

Everybody agrees that Tanihill sucks as a NFL QB Teddy has the same numbers....

Well Sota...people who are actually in the league or cover it think Bridgewater played very well for a rooke brought into a tough situation. He was under pressure more than any QB (injuries all over the O-line), 2nd highest passer rating in the NFL the final 5 games of the season, 3rd highest completion % for a rookie in NFL history, and didn't have the luxery of spending his first three seasons holding a clip board.

For a guy who is such a big football fan you make comments at times which don't give you the appearance as someone who knows much about the game.

I will gladly admit I am wrong if Teddy makes a probowl but really his stats are pedestrian.

I should know better than to respond to any of Sota's illogical posts. It's pointless. It reminds me of the thread we had about the NCCA championship football game.
