I was born in 1966 but as a youth and growing up I loved the music the Rolling Stones made. One of my biggest regrets is never seeing them in concert. Rumor has it that they will play Target Field this summer would you pay $500 a ticket to see them? Would you go on a guided hunt or see the Rolling Stones in concert for the last time?
$500 seems cheap. Think the cheapest tickets last year for the 50th Anniversary tour were $1500 As much as I love the Stones, there is nothing in my mind that could justify it
I would go if they agreed to do at least 2 songs, Emotional rescue and Going to a Go Go. And the rest of their greatest hits.
That's a tough one. Guided hunts will always be around, but the Stones will one day stop touring. So Stones it is!!
I watched them on Saturday Night Live when the tattoo you album was out, waiting on a friend and start me up.
It sounds like you really want to see them so I think you should do it. Hopefully they can still put on a good show at their age. I've never spent $500 on a ticket but there have been concerts which cost me that much when including travel, hotel, etc.
Well if you have never and always wanted to, its now or never! Besides when are you going to go on a guided hunt for 500 bucks?
Tuff call. $500 is a lot for my pocketbook, and it would be a "G" if I took my gf. That's a thousand dollars toward a life experience kind of hunt, which would be pretty cool. I've seen the Stones several times, and now their shows are all about who's playing backup for them. I saw them in the 70's and 80's when they played all the music themselves. Not really rock n' roll music shows but more like well staged money sucking events. I saw the Moody Blues late last year, and they sounded the same as they did over thirty years ago. Not so with the Stones.
Neither my husband nor I have ever seen the Stones live. It would be really fun. But that's way too much money for tickets.
