Hey all, my 17 year old daughter has been coming with my son and I to the bow range and is starting to show some interest. I am looking to pick her up a starter women's bow and need some recommendations, thanks in advance for your help.

Guess that is all going to depend on what your budget is for her.

Only she can determine what bow is a fit for her (by trying out as many as she can!) I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Mission Riot. Excellent "grow with you" bow that is smooth and deadly accurate.

I'm getting ready to pick up a Mission Riot for my daughter. She shot one and liked it, and Mission seems to get a good review everywhere I look.

PSE and Bear also have some models out that are on the lower price point, and have a large range of adjustablity for draw weight and draw length, along with great quality and a good warranty.

Depending on her budget, most of the bow manufacturers are now putting out some great bows geared towards women, so you should have a nice selection to choose from. Go have her shoot as many as she can, side by side if possible, so she can begin to feel the difference in each and decide which one fits her best. Be sure to choose a good proshop that will give her the good service she needs, both before and after the purchase, and will make sure that she is set up properly right from the start.

    Hope this helps.

I bought my wife the mission craze and it's awesome. The riot is the same but newer model I believe. Fully adjustable from 19-29 draw length I believe and from like 15 lbs to 70lbs draw weight. It really is a bow that kids can grow into.

Not quite the same. They look very similar with the same cam system and limbs I believe but the Riot has a longer riser. Making the ATA 3" longer. I don't think you could go wrong with either of those bows.

I started with the Hoyt Ruckus...now am on the Mathews Misson Craze. It's a very nice bow and I am not going to grow out of it.
