lifted trucks with the Carolina lean...trucks lifted higher in the front.. Stanced cars or cars with excessive camber seeing more of these. noticing any odd car or truck trends in your areas?
this one I actually like ..a wire tuck or cleaning up exposed wires allot of the import guys do this.. I have not figured out how to do it on ours yet.lol
We have a lot of what they call BRO trucks around here, excessively lifted trucks that will never see off road use... But if thats your thing and you can afford to feed it go for it....
I've never really figured out the purpose of lifting a truck for practical means anyway... I mean, your differential covers are STILL the limiting factor on your ground clearance. Unless you put on significantly larger tires (and then maybe you need to a 3" lift or thereabouts for suspension travel), you've gained nothing in most cases.
6" of suspension lift with tall tires is about as high as I like, the taller narrow tires like buckshot mudders get the diff up higher left it's self really doesn't very much.. The other issue is loading anything like motorcycles or ATVs.. We used to do a lot of mud riding down here, no where to go anymore..
I like the abbreviated stickers that people put on their cars and trucks that nobody knows what they mean. It like a mobile trivial pursuit game for morons.
Most people that do it for practical purposes aren't driving to the mall or to the grocery store (or a mud puddle in a field). SAS' s on IFS rigs, going long travel, or doing a coilover lift to gain some travel and clearance, etc. Those will gain you something and it often doesn't look showy. I can't say much about lifted trucks, these are the toys I bought myself when I got out of USMC. Truck had a 6" suspension and 3" body with 40" tires when I bought it. It was fun for a while but I wouldn't have one that tall again. For me it's everyone and their mom having diesel trucks tuned up so much that they replace injectors every 6 months and never pull anything. To go along with that putting stacks on them. Most of the other stuff already as been mentioned. But overall don't really pay too much attention just shake my head most of time.

I had a 93 ranger ext cab on narrowed and shorted F250 high boy frame with 14" of suspension and 4" on 46" tall tires and a 460ci eng.. you talk about a useless truck too big to go in the wood too expensive to drive daily I have had a ton of 6" lifted trucks.. too old now too hard to get into... I lift 3 to 4 now on 35" tires max

Ha yea unfortunately I'm kinda getting that way too, the appeal for something like that has worn off. Nerf bars were the first thing purchased shortly after that pic. It was a fun truck but not very practical for what I do. Always kinda wanted one like that and got back home and went for it. Had a 1980 F350 me and my dad kinda restored that I ended up putting a 6" lift on just to play around with. I definitely know what your saying with the 460, mine had a 400 and was probably about the same way driving around much ha. I'd say if I ever did it again I'd probably be like you and only stick to 3 or 4" just for a little ground clearance.
Only Prius, Yaris, Volts, Fiat 500's, and Mini's..... And the sandwich sign and dancing sign folks..... Stacks on non diesel trucks and diesel trucks, and six and seven inch exhaust tips on diesel trucks.
The Carolina squat makes no sense. My 01 2500hd Silverado gets by with being stock, but ground clearance does occasionally become an issue. Larger tires would be better. Right now I carry chains and a hi-lift jack to help get past the difficult spots. And I just got a satellite phone too. Lol Hubby's jeep this past Friday. A winch is #1 on the addition list. It is a stock yj. It needs mods to be truly trail worthy out here.
I used to like the trucks lifted 6" or so, but I guess I am getting older and wiser. My next truck will have a leveling kit and 35" tires, no higher. Luckily, we don't have any of the carolina lean or whatever its called, or the stupid little ricer cars around here. There's definitely some coal rollers around though.
