Going to Vegas April 7-10th - My GF's best friend is getting hitched and asked a big group of us to go along.

For those that have been, what are some things I must do while there? Best foods, best shows, best casinos, best bars, best place to find hook... Ignore that last one.

We have been doing a lot of research but would like some personal opinions as well!

I have been to Vegas several times for business, I would never go for vacation, but that's just me I prefer to kill things when I go on vacation.;)

I have been there 3 times. I stayed at the circus circus, the MGM and the Monte Carlo. Check out the buffet at the belagio. I went to several different buffets to eat and that was by far the best one.

Vegas is great time...before the kids came along my wife and I used to fly out a couple times year for long weekends. I have stayed at the Bellagio, Wynn and Caesars and they all have been great....

Some Restaurants to consider. The Cut at the Venetian is great steak house also for steak The golden Steer. Lotus of Siam if you like Thai. And Nobu was excellent japanese at Caesars. The Stage Deli is the only reason to go into the mall at Caesars...

Just just got back from Vegas last week. Been there several times in the past 3 years for business. It's my second favorite city to visit for work.

Here are three. The first two I wold say are "must do's".

    - Go to the Circus Circus steakhouse for a great big ribeye steak. It's a must.
    - If you do not know how to play craps, learn before you go. It's a fun game and does not have to be complicated. Can play with friends as well.
    - If it is your first time there, visit a few casino bars on a Thursday - sat night. The sights are fantastic.
    - Pool up 1500.00 (if you can) and get a good seat at a club with all of your friends. You will have plenty of other company you can bring in or kick out of your area :)

We have gone 2 times in the last 3 years for vacation/Anniversary. I have won the most money at the Mandalay Bay casinos. The Burger Bar there has awesome Bison burgers. The Bayside Buffet in the Mandalay Bay has an AMAZING breakfast buffet for around $17 per person. Trust me when I say it is Amazing. We eat there everyday we are there! We eat at Wolf Gang Puck's restaurants a lot when we are in Vegas. Check out the Venetian when you are there. They have some awesome shops there if you want to go shopping.

My favorite place of all in Vegas got torn down. O'Shays I loved the drunken midget telling people to F off. We used to play craps there drunk of course, when the guy would slide you the dice we would grab them fast and throw them and try to hit the stick and then yell at the stick guy.

Forgot to mention that if you are a Michael Jackson fan, this show is really good. Can't believe the stuff these people do. Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil

Here is what you need to know for craps: Pass line then odds, come line then odds.

I think we are for sure going to be checking out the Bellagio buffet and I am taking your suggestions on the Circus Circus steak house. Kind of crappy thing about it is that we are going with a group of people... I know that not everyone will want to do certain things etc, etc.

We have been checking on the Cirque du Soleil shows - Went to one here in MN and it was awesome.
