it's not worth the aggravation or the arguing.. I promise not to start anymore political threads or any religious threads...
I will also not comment anymore on either one far too many strong and differing opinions..

I also promise not to hold any grudges from one thread to the next and any hard feelings or previous arguments are forgotten as of now.. I normally don't shy away from heated discussions face too face but online there are no winners or losers so I am done with them...

I came to this forum mainly for the hunting aspect and enjoy that immensely.

As an adult I promise to do this I hope the rest of you can as well..

A great teacher once said Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.

    So that is my plan....

Thank you for reading this and God bless.. [OK so one more religious statement..lol]

I don't see the appeal of many of these treads unless you're just someone who enjoys arguing. Good move.

Timing is the key to wining most arguments, you just have to know when to put the apron back on get back to those dishes, because even God knows that they ain't gonna wash them selves!

It's all good, no worries. There is nothing on a forum worth getting pissed about. I think that any of us would get along any other poster here face to face we are all one big family here.

I think discussing religion and politics is fine as long as you realize that your opinions aren't going to change anything. As far as politics are concerned, we each have a vote. As far as religion is concerned we can support/join a church or not support/join a church.

Discussing politics and religion is just fine as long as you can remove emotion from the debate or topic.

And the internet was basically created so strangers could argue with each other. It is what makes the internet fun.

Don't take it so serious and personal. Which far too many people do. Hook is right. The debating is a good thing not a bad thing.

Since Al Gore created the internet, his words not mine, maybe it was created so we could argue with each other:wave:

Nothing at all wrong with debating issues, exposes us to different thought processes and makes us examine our own ideas and apply sound logic to what we personnaly believe. And we all, and I mean all, can become entrenched in our beliefs especially when discussing things we are passionate about, religion and politics being prime examples. Nothing really wrong with that either in my opinion. We are all entitled to our own opinion. My wife tells me that I am entitled to my own opinion even though I am wrong so I usually take her at her word.

I enjoy a good discussion and even the occasional argument. I think most do a good job not making it personal and even though I don't agree with some people, I still can respect them for believing in something, no matter how wrong they are :) Just kidding!!!!

And for those of you that have taken offense to anything I have said, I apologize......

This place is pretty mild compared to others...I really don't see the point in getting worked up over anything on here.
