The everything and anything 2015 MLB thread! With Baseball only a couple of days away from starting spring training games, I thought it would be a good time to start the thread to get all the baseball fans from the forum excited for the upcoming season.

    - Who's your team?

    - Has your team improved in the offseason?

    - What do you expect from them?

    - Predictions for divisions?

    - Best teams in Baseball?

    - Free agent signings - the good and the bad.

    - Who's going to the World Series?!

    My team- Milwaukee brewers
Have they improved?- hard to say, they led the central pretty much all season, but then blew it in the end. Braun, segura, and kris davis should improve, but ramirez, and the pitching staff is due for regression.
For divisions, I see Detroit, Toronto, Angels, Pirates, Nationals, and Padres.
Best teams? Nationals, Pirates, cardinals, Angels.
Free agents- nats getting scherzer is just unfair.
Ws champ will be Washington. Pitching is out of this world good.

    Anyone doing fantasy baseball?

I'm in at least 4 leagues... Probably 5. Did a few mock drafts today. Can't wait!

I am a Twins fan that refuses to go to a game if they are under 500, my national league team is the Cubs. I don't get to enjoy many playoff games.:whip:

I plan on betting on the Twins cover the over at 70 wins I think they could possibly hit 85-90 wins. They were in the top ten in the AL with runs scored last season and they have to have improved pitching.

Well obviously you're not a true fan ;)

Twins will always be my team, no matter the record.

Cubs going to the WS? That's a reach in my eyes - Can't count on a team full of rookies and basically 0 pitching.

Anthony Rizzo will be a star this year.

Right, I had to laugh at that. Kris Bryant can mash, but he also doesn't make contact much. And they got career years out of like 3 guys pitching wise last year.

Does this look like a WS caliber lineup? Coghlan and Dexter Fowler in the OF... Castro should blossom with his job on the line, but I still don't see it happening.

Since I live in Canada my team is the bluejays. Sadly the only Canadian team. Even though I live in BC I've always been a jays fan. Canada seems to be behind the jays no matter what part of the country your from. Plus it's the only team that gets full coverage on tv. (Also get a lot of games shown from the west coast teams mainly SEA, LAA, LAD.

I do think the jays will be a better team this year. Adding Donaldson, and Martin have been good pick ups, sucks to see Cabrera leave and I do wish we would have gotten a solid reliever, don't even wanna think about the bullpen we had last yr..
I expect stroman and hutshison to have good outings and I think it's possible the jays make a playoff appearance. I do think the Red Sox win the division.

Cleveland Indians are my team. I'm very excited about their chances this year. Kluber will repeat and be a Cy Young contender. They have some of the best young arms in the game. Offense should be improved as a lot of guys had down years. Should bounce back and added Brandon Moss.

    AL:
    East: Toronto
    Central: Cleveland
    West: Seattle
    WC: Detroit & Los Angeles

    NL:
    East: Washington
    Central: St Louis
    West: Los Angeles
    WC: Pittsburgh & San Diego

Indians and Nationals in the series. Cleveland finally gets a ring.

Yeah, yeah, I'm a huge Homer. Indians are regarded as a team that could be a surprise contender though.

As a Red Sox fan, I think many of you are giving them too much credit here :D

Their rotation is still suspect, especially with never knowing if you're getting healthy Buchholz or injury plagued Buchholz. Hanley will definitely help a struggling outfield, but if they don't find some production elsewhere out of there, it won't help. Panda will help pad (pun intended) some that offensive lacking season they had last season.

Then, there's the BIG question mark. Yoan Moncada. That's A LOT of money (including the fines) to pay, so hopefully it pays off. I'm just unsure where he fits in. They're not moving Panda or Pedroia. I could see him giving Bogaerts a run for his money.

Pitching is still the question mark for me as they don't really have one solid ace.

Regardless. REALLY excited baseball is back.
