With some of the talk about hunting big bucks I thought this might be interesting. Jim Shockey used to talk about someone who's best 6 bucks scored a total of 900 inches or more, he considered a big buck hunter since it took 6 150" or better bucks on average to show it wasn't a fluke. It would be interesting to see how many here would be on the list. Lets hear your score no matter the weapon and just gross scores.

I'm certainly a big buck hunter - just not a big buck killer. :D

My 6 best bucks combined score 890" roughly. If I didn't kill those 126" and 120" bucks, I probably could have made it

I have only been hunting for 7 years really. Before that, it was just 1 week a year in TN.

Roughly 750" for me, which isn't shabby for me considering 4 out of the 6 were taken off my 40 acres in a span of 4 out of 5 years. That scores going up in the future though:)

I am right there with Cole at about 890". I have passed some bucks that would have helped me just get over the mark but I was chasing a specific buck for a number of years and did not care what else came by. I am going to guess that there is less than 5% that get over the 900" mark if everyone answered the poll.

Pretty sure I tip in just over the 800" mark. If I could learn how to shoot and kill deer I've had opportunities at I would be pushing that 1000" range. Some day!

If I could have gotten a shot at 4 different bucks that went 150 or better that were well within bow range ( 20 yards and under ) I could say the same thing.

Course if I hadn't passed some low - high 140's bucks because I was hunting bigger bucks, that might have helped too.

Fate and greed... eerrrr... being stupid keep holding me back.

Mine broke right at the 900 mark. It's silly though, as far as I'm concerned anyone that runs up into the 800 range is killing big bucks on a regular basis.

Mine could have easily been well over the 900 figure if either I had taken the big one I hunted in 2014 or had not had to let the OMG buck walk in 2013 only to be shot by a neighbor.

    894"....so close. (167, 154, 154, 143, 141, 135).

If not for two misses on a 180's in '95 (shot over him at 26 yards) and a 150's in '96 (shot under him at 24 yards).....
