After reading another comment in the water cooler I thought this would be an interesting topic.

What is your favorite food after leaving the bar?

When I was younger it was breakfeast food at a restuarante after closing down a bar.

Now I would say pizza if anything. I'm rarely at any bars late at night anymore though it is fun once in awhile.

I must be old for me staying up late is watching the sports on the 10:00 news instead of just the weather. If I ate before I went to bed after drinking I would wake up with acid reflux.

S#!t on a shingle or SOS. It's just toast with a white gravy with onions, mushrooms and sausage on top.

Spam sammiches can be pretty killer too.... fry some slices with some sweet onion and peppers then a slice of cheese and toast like a grilled cheese....... Damn I need beer and food now.

    Taco Bell or White Castle.

Back in my younger days we were all about stopping at the 24 Hour White Hen and getting fresh sandwiches made at the deli. Nothing like a good ham and cheddar on white with a bottle of milk at 3 in the morning.

It was McDonalds cause it was the only thing on the way home from the bar I would go to regularly. I haven't gone out to a bar and stayed late in a while until recently. On the way home I had to explain my routine to my wife when i insisted that we stop at McDonalds on the way home.

It was Denny's or IHOP for my after hours food fix. At Denny's it would be a patty melt or pancakes and bacon. IHOP just pancakes.

We eat at the bar, usually pizza, which my wife and our daughters both love. They will eat any kind of pizza, good or bad.

Usually anything. But it usually ends up being pizza, burger, fries or just pretzels from home.

Pretty much anything greasy for me. Lately we have been frying fish after getting drunk at the neighbors house. Its hard to beat some fried crappie or gar, covered in sriracha sauce :tu:

We have a place here in Champaign that I used to hit up after we would leave the bars. They have closed the U of I campus location for some reason but still have one open in another part of town. Nothing like a good time at the bar and then a burrito as big as your head to finish out the night.
