I wish I had a Chrono I could borrow just so I could see how slow I am going, I shoot Cabela carbon Stalker extremes 340 spine. Finished arrow weight is 435, 100 grain Exodus, and I am shooting them from an infinite edge at 64 pnds. I know they are slow comparitively.
450 grain on the nose finished arrow weight. Shooting 285fps. I use Slick Trick Standard fixed blade heads. This out of a Bowtech Experience set at 64lbs with a 28.5" draw length.
I shoot an arrow setup right around 550 grain, 30" fmj with a 125 grain head. Been shooting stipfire maxx mixed in with a few others, not sure what I'll be shooting this year. Last time I checked the specs bow was set at 74# and shooting 274 fps.
I shoot a slow and heavy-ish (going heavier) arrow...but more often than not after a shot I'm plucking from the ground it is stuck in after being painted red.
Easton Axis arrows with 100 grain tip (Rage) Total weight of 386 grains. Shooting 52 pounds and getting 242fps from Mathews No Cam HTR
Gold tip Pro hunters, 28.5" 400 spine. 100 grain Helix 2 blade broadhead, 381 grains total, 268 f.p.s.
300 spine GT Velocity 388 grains. Broadheads will be Slick Trick Vipers and Nukes. When I get a new bow I should be pushing about 290-295 fps but I would be pleased with 280 fps, it really depends on the bow I choose.
