Got a referral from JZ and Tommy on a local guy that is apparently a killer taxidermist. Since my first buck was taken so early, I managed to get in front of the line. He called last night, and buck #1 is done and ready to pick up tonight after work. My second buck should also be done in the next week or so too. That one went out in the second round of capes but since I was one of the few that brought him two bucks this year he's going to get that buck done in the next couple of weeks for me. So excited. Coming from 20+ years of hunting dink deer, I can't wait to put these two on the wall. Pictures to follow tonight........
Real nice!! Cant wait to see your pics!! This is my first mount that I got right before Christmas. He was taken October 5th!! He`s no giant, but I`m so proud of him!! Best of luck to you , he`s gonna look great!
very cool.... the only way my taxi would move my mount completion up was if I slipped him an extra $100..lol
Thanks guys - I'm really happy with this mount. It's on a McKenzie 6900 semi sneak offset form. I liked this one so much that the other buck I have coming (next week maybe?) I'm going to have done on the same form with a different turn and my taxi is going to do some custom work to give him a bit of a head up pose. These 6900's really are a killer form IMHO. I wish I had a chance to get some pics with natural light, but for now these will have to do.
