I have a question about draw length. I shoot with 27.5 inch arrows, that measurement is from front of arrow where the field tip screws on to the end where the nock attaches. Does that mean my draw length is 27.5 inches?

The short answer is no. Draw length has nothing to do with the length of your arrow. I'm a 30.5" draw and my arrows are 29.5 inches long carbon to carbon.

Ok, then how do I figure my draw length?

The best way would be to go to a good archery shop and get measured. You can also divide your wingspan from tip of middle finger to tip of middle finger by 2.5 and get real close. I did this and came up with 30.6 and my draw is 30.5

Thanks for the help, I must have had a brain fart. I should have known this. I over bought on the strength of the bow when I purchased it and had to send it to Bear to get the limbs switched out and guess the stickers were on the old limbs. BTW it's a 2014 Bear Attitude. I figured it out to a 27 inch draw length.

I always set my customers up with the bowstring crossing the corner of the mouth and the nose also touching. I also don't take away 1/2" for the loop. But your true draw length is the from the inset of the grip to the bowstring when drawn, but for arrow length add about 1 1/2".
