I can't wait to put my eyes on this new broadhead. Currently I shoot slick trick but have always loved new archery products. I did not like to thunderhead edge and razor as they use a little screws to hold the blades in. I also do not like steel ferrules. It bugs me that they rust and I have to put oil on them. This new redneck looks exactly like what I am looking for. Anyone else looking forward to the New line of new archery products broadheads?
I'll most likely continue with my Thunderhead Razors but the Redneck is a great broadhead at $20 for a 3 pack.
It may be but new archery products has the sharpest blades in the industry. I think that will make a huge difference.
It's probably made by NAP. Private label is big with the box stores. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I did pick up a pack of Slingblades when they were on sale and have decided to make them my #1 BH this year. Love the hypodermic tip with almost a 2" cut diameter. Beats the COC head of the Gator original and beats the 1.5" diameter of the Gator SS.
I think the Redneck is a hit solely because price. I think they were going for a cheaper version of the Thunderhead. I know the blade retention is different but they appeal to the same customer. If I was going to shoot a fixed blade, it would be a slick trick and I wouldn't think twice about it. I'm a big Rage fan but I've contemplated getting some Killzones too. I've shot the Rage Xtreme for 3 years and I'm at 8 deer and counting with it. Been shooting the Rage since 08' with some Slick Trick kills mixed ib Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
