I am not new to bow hunting, but I am relatively new to the world of SmartPhones (I know...I know...:). Just wondering if any of you have hunting apps that are helpful. So far I have found "Mossy Oak Hunting", Weather Channel", and "Handy GPS". I know there must be some other great ones out there. Thanks for your help as I try to move into the 21st century:)

Another for huntstand, make sure you don't accidentally click the turkey app that one isn't free. alarm clock and a wind app will kill deer. get in there early and unnoticed.

I have Huntstand, but don't see a lot of uses for it. Maybe Im missing something, what do you guys use it for? Only thing I still do on it really is if I need to measure an area on a map.

Best hunt times, Scout outlook, Hunt stand, US topo maps, and the trusted GPS.

I don't use many apps for hunting. I check the weather and wind and that's about it. I do however spend too much time on here and texting while in the stand.

I use it for marking rubs, scrapes, stands etc.
reading the topo map, weather, wind, logging sightings

The only thing I wish it had was a waypoint feature. I use markers as a make shift one.

Thanks for the input everyone! I installed "HuntStand Lite" and "Antler Insanity". Hopefully they will help me as I look toward next season.

Backcountry navigator. Most areas I hunt have no cell service but just download your areas ahead of time and your good to go.

SL: Deer Log (Scout Look) has been good for me. Lets me mark when and where I see deer. Lets you put in all specific info on bucks and stuff too.
