Just wondering what kinds of climbers most are using now. I used to use Loggy Bayou although its been a while. I actually prefer hang on stands, but the way I'll be hunting now, a climber will work best.

I have been stuck on the Lone wolf sit and climb for the past 10 years. packing in as much gear as I do, the lighter the better and I love how quite and comfy its is.

I'll have to check those out. I know what you mean about the weight. My dad had one of those Tree Lounges. Very comfortable, but I'd rather drag the deer than tote one of those on my back again.

Summit also has some good stands.

Same here, and I wouldn't have it any other way. They are super quiet and secure. LW sit and climb rocks!

I hunt primarily out of a climber as most of my area is hardwoods with plenty of climbable trees. I went through several and settled on the Lone Wolf Wide Sit and Climb. Had the standard SC and it was just too narrow for my liking. The Wide version is perfect.

It packs well, which is a plus for many and its of course quiet as a mouse. The only thing on their stands that I didn't like was the seats. I swapped it out for a mesh style seat which is lighter, less cumbersome and just as comfortable.

I have been using a LW hand climber since 2009. I have owned many others; Summit, Loggy, Ol'Man, API...the LW is the only stand I kept longer than a season or two.

I just bought a lone wolf wide flip top climber off of ebay, and i love it. Its quiet sturdy light and packs well. They are expensive new but sometimes you can find them on ebay cheaper. I like the flip top climber because once you climb its like hunting out of a lock on with the seat being higher than the frame. Summit also makes a good climber and they are more affordable than lone wolf

Yup, Summit Viper gets my vote... easy to climb with, decent to set up, acceptable weight, completely safe.

I have a Summit that has lasted me 8 years with no issues. I replaced a rusty screws to make they did not break. I have very impressed with the quality of the stand and ease of use.

I have a api grand slam bow hunter model that I have used for 15 years and still love it, I bought a LW this season and hate it,the seat blows and the rubber band feels like it stretches a mile before it gets tight. I will be selling it asap.

I've had a LW sit and climb for about 8 years now I guess. Had a summit before that. No way would I buy another climber that wasn't a LW.

I had a loggy bayou that I liked, until I bought my lw sit and climb last year. It's great. Packs flat, comfortable, light weight, easy to pack, and quiet. Couldn't ask for anything more.

I have a Lone Wolf Handclimber that I hunt out of virtually every sit of the season since 2006. Great stand. I am considering buying a Summit Viper for a mobile gun setup. However, they are much louder than the LW stands. I hunted with a buddy the other night and as we were walking in his stand was making some noise. He didn't have it properly strapped but everything that touched it was loud. Made me second guess the stand but I am still buying for gun season.

Lone Wolf wide sit and climb. Quiet, packs flat and is very stable. Works for me.
