I am looking for a light for coyote hunting to mount to my scope. I was looking for recommendations for what you guys use. The farthest I'd be shooting is probably 300 yards with my TC Venture .223 Predator.

I've got an EagleTac G25 series. Kinda pricey but it is a powerful light and not very big. Comes with a rail mount as well.

I was looking at the Fenix TK22. I didn't know if anyone has experience with the Fenix brand.

I missed a coyote yesterday. Chasing a doe in a field about 300 yds away.

Any coyote hunter or trapper is welcome to come to my place anytime, heck bring 100 friends and kill them all.

I was kidding about the 100 friends but no coyote hunter or trapper would ever be turned away.

Sota tap into the local trapping fellas, I don't know many a trapper that would ever turn down more ground.

I tried to get a guy to come out a couple years ago when I had a coon problem. He didn't want to trap in December because they normally were not active. I had trail cam pics of them. Plus they are reluctant to use traps that can kill a dog in the area I live.

Roughly where are you at again? I would honestly come do some hunting and get a chance to meet you if it was reasonable.

If you're within an hour or so to Mancato (sp) I got a buddy that would most likely be wiling to come hunt some yotes when you desire.

You live about 20 minutes from me.

I'm just west of Princeton... Too bad I don't hunt coyote!

Heck I get up there fairly often actually. My fiancé is from Big Lake and one of her sisters lives in St. Francis.

Sorry to derail the original topic. We can't use scope mounted lights in MN.
