I think a buddy and I are going to make the couple hour drive to cabelas in Columbus for Black Friday. We'll get there around 3am for a 5am open time. Anyone ever done this? How are the lines and what kinda prizes do they give out to the people who are first 600 in line?
my brother and I camped out a few years back, November camping in Boise Idaho is about as warm as you think it might be. We had a blast, got a couple free gift cards and a couple ok deals.
The black friday lines at the St. Louis Cabela's and Bass Pro are next to insane. If that's what you are into, that's the place to be! (I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they don't have somebody camping out in front of the store already.)
I would rather do an all day sit in my most uncomfortable treestand after drinking a pot of coffee with no pee bottle in the pouring rain than to wait in line like that.
I cant get the flyer on my computer to open. Anyone know the better deals the Hamburg PA store is running? Curious mostly on rifles or treestands but really wish I could look it over and see what deals they have.
I did it at a Cabelas in the Dallas area a few years ago. I will take my warm bed. The only reason to get off that early is to be in the stand. Pay attention to the sales and you can find better deals at other times of the year without fighting the crowds.
