With my stinking truck that is. The doe died quickly... but I am looking at $3000 damage. Arrrgggghhhh!!! Thank goodness for insurance and me not being injured.

Hunting with your truck-ought-6 is not good. Thank God you're okay though!

I hunt near my neighborhood. Last year I watched a spike come in to feed almost daily under my stand. He was a cool little buck I figured would be nice in 3 more years. My wife ends up hitting him with her car, $500 deductible and no meat. I should have shot that dang deer. Glad you didn’t get hurt.

All of a sudden a new bow and some treestands doesn't sound so expensive, huh?

Thankful for what did not happen. I was on a levy with nowhere to go. I saw another one and had slowed down. Otherwise, I would likely have hit her in the center of the truck and may have easily lost control had the airbag deployed

The truck goes in the shop Monday and will likely be finished by Wednesday. My shop has been doing my work for a long time and usually orders the parts before I bring the vehicle in. Then its just a matter of bolting, blowing paint, and buffing. I am planning on finally getting to hunt a little this week, so I hope he gets it back in time.
