I went down to my little kill plot to pull a climber for my upcoming trip to Kentucky and Missouri. Even though I'd just pulled the card from my camera yesterday I thought I'd check it. I had 9 pics on it so I swapped out the card, grabbed my stand and vacated. The 7th picture is attached. What in the world is that in the lower left corner? At first I thought it was my shoulder, but it was at 11:46 today and I was at work, so I thought it might be someone else's shoulder, but when I zoom in I can see what I think is fur. My camera is set to take 3 shot bursts, but this is the only pic it's in. I'm stumped.
How far are you from civilization, looks like the front right shoulder of a husky with his head to the ground, looks like the bottom of his neck
Kinda looks like a nose. I get pics like this a lot. I think if they come from the side and might hear the cam take the picture, then they try smelling it. I probably get one like this every other pull.
I'm actually in civilization. I live in a small housing development outside the city limits of a small town. It being a dog wouldn't surprise me, but I don't know of anyone around here who has huskies. When I look at it now it does kind of look like maybe a dog raised it's head up. It could be the left view of a head with the muzzle out of the picture to the left. Still, something doesn't look right. The area under what looks like a lock of hair looks hairless and shiny.
Yep, I finally see it. You can see the tail plainly, and the lighter area under it is the white on the inside of the right hindquarter. Thanks.
I recognize it only because that is all I have seen from the stand in 5 sits this season. Actually it almost identical in size, but was heading back into the brush.
HHMMMMmmm Never studied a deers "tail" that close before, but I think you may be right,..walking to the left of frame, tail down, left rear foot forward,....
