I have experience with Yeti coolers and really do like them. Probably will be buying one soon. But I was wondering if anyone has tried any of the similar coolers that have since come out to compete with Yeti. Any likes or dislikes? I know Ill get plenty guys saying Igloo coolers are just as good and blah blah, but that doesn help me in this situation. Talking more on the ones like Grizzly or Orca and ones like that. Thanks in advance guys and gals!

A friend of mine bought an Igloo sportsman recently. It looks like a Yeti, rubber latches, roto molded etc. Idk what he paid for it, but its built like a tank.

    Igloo® Sportsman?

GRIZZLY! Certified bear proof, incredibly thick seal, wayyyy better latches than a Yeti, built in the USA, molded handles instead of ropes, and cheaper per quart. What else do you need?

Brute Outdoors. All parts and final assembly are 100% made in America, in Texas. Mine have held up great are basically bombproof. Hold ice forever, slightly cheaper then yeti's but the model numbers correspond to the quarts accurately so they are basically larger as well.

Pelican makes a great cooler as well. No rubber grommets to worry about and very sturdy built. The only down side it that they are very heavy.

I have a Grizzly 40 I've been very happy with. Built like a tank and keeps stuff very cold.

YETI, is made in the USA, but some are made in the Philippines as well, Most of the Yetis that have rubber handles instead of the foam handles are made in the USA. But you can always flip the cooler over and look on the bottom and they will tell you where it is made. If I was not going to buy another yes another (I own 3) Yeti, I would have to buy the Pelican cooler. The only downside of the Pelican is that they are very very heavy and I don't care much for the handles. This is just my two pennies BUY A YETI and don't ever look back

Every Yeti in our store, regardless of the handles, is made in the Philippines. I checked them all yesterday to cover my bases.

What sizes do you carry? The larger ones are more than likely made in U.S. or vise versa..

I own 3 Yeti's as well. I looked at others but like the Yeti. I am sure they will all serve their purpose.

I have a Grizzly and love it. A lot of my friends have a Yeti so I looked into them but I felt you are getting a better cooler with the Grizzly and its a little cheaper. If I would have thought the Yeti was better I would have gotten that.
