Distance for your Travel to Work

How far do you travel for your work? and if your a travelling salesman you don't apply lol...I travel 53miles 1 way, so I'm 106miles a day from my driveway to my works parking lot...and live in Pa and work in Md

 

1 job is 25 miles the other is 42 miles both 1 way

 

A half mile. I would go stark-raving-mad if I had to put up with traffic on a morning commute. I get annoyed if I have to wait for more than one car to pull onto Main Street.

 

6 1/2 miles one way

 

55 miles one way...110 per day. I drive a Tractor trailer for a job too so it's kinda painful on the way home, I just want to get home!!!!

 

To my main job only 10 miles if that but my lawn business different story anywhere from 30-50k a year depending weather.

 

6 miles to my fulltime job... 47 to my church.

 

4 blocks one way, so 8 blocks round trip. It's hard sometimes but I deal with it lol

1.2 miles. Just moved from a facility much further. 3.6 miles.

Used to travel down to Miami 2-3x and week. 60 miles one way. !:20 one way with good traffic, 2+ hours at rush hour.

all joking aside I used to only live 7 miles from my work...but when we had our Daughter 11yrs ago we decided to move to Pa and get a nicer house, better area and allow my Wife to stay home and cheaper as well...don't regret that decision at all but there are times I get frustrated with the daily commute and miss being so close to work lol

 

I'll walk some days maybe ride a bike or take the truck if I haven't finished my coffee for the morning, it is nice to be able to leave the house at 7 and still get there at 7. I'm so use to it now if I had to drive further I'd hate it.

 

I hear that....thats good stuff....the only issue is you cant call off sick and go hunting, they would see you do that lol

 

I thought I was going to post the shortest walk to work but you got me beat by a block .

 

Atleast you still have a short distance, can't beat a nice walk to work in the summer.

 

Nah the boss man let's me take whatever days off I want for hunting or whatnot as long as we aren't busy so it's not bad lol he's into hunting and fishing as well so it helps.

 

55 miles one way, about an hour and ten minute drive from my house. Fortunately, my company provides a van to drive out.
